As part of a regional seminar organised by the Strategic Communication and Foresight Directorate of the European External Action Service, Stratcom PRO organised two training sessions for the Press and Information Officers from 27 EU Delegations across the Americas. The sessions focused on crisis communication and communication strategies.

Delivering the course ‘Strategic Communication in a Digital Age’ at the College of Europe in Natolin, tailored for Master’s students in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Programme. 

Two day crisis communication workshop for the managerial level employees of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM)

One day training in person on digital diplomacy and addressing disinformation to the diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia planning to go in rotation in autumn 2024

2 x 2 day in-person resilience building training workshops for Georgian and Moldovan media managers and editors organized by the Baltic Center for Media Excellence

Delivery of one day virtual workshop for the communication staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia staff based in Embassies on digital diplomacy in the era of disinformation

Delivering the course ‘Strategic Communication in a Digital Age’ at the College of Europe in Natolin, tailored for Master’s students in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Programme. 

One day virtual training for EU Delegation staff (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) dealing with communications (Press & stratcom officers, communication project managers and political officers) on integrated crisis communication response

One day virtual training for management of Finland’s national public broadcasting company “Yle” to build their capacity to respond to a hybrid/disinformation attack around Finland’s accession to NATO as part of the wider crisis communication approach.

Latvian Government Stratcom Division organized information session for the State Secretaries & their PR advisors of the Ministries of Latvia to build their capacity to respond to communication crisis related to raising energy prices.

NATO Public Diplomacy & Latvian Government Stratcom Division organised training for four Latvian municipalities to improve their capacity to recognise and respond to a hybrid/disinformation attack around the migration crisis on Latvian/Belarusian border.

Delivering the course ‘Strategic Communication in a Digital Age’ at the College of Europe in Natolin, tailored for Master’s students in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Programme. 

Develop and deliver virtual training session to the staff of the European Medicines Agency to better forecast, recognise and respond to vaccine related disinformation.

Training session to the press officers and communication coordinators from the 6 EaP Delegations (AM, AZ, BY, MD, GE, UA) as part of the annual Regional Seminar on disinformation attack simulation and response options.

Developing training module and running all six virtual training sessions to contribute to long-term resilience of EU staff (DG COMM – ECREPs and the EEAS – EUDELs) against disinformation threats. In total more than 100 staff trained.

Develop and deliver virtual training session to the Disinformation Network Slovakia (EC Representation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government & CSOs) to build capacity to better respond to vaccine related disinformation.

Delivering the course ‘Strategic Communication in a Digital Age’ at the College of Europe in Natolin, tailored for Master’s students in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Programme. 

Training to the Estonian diplomats based at the embassies on social media communications, incl. crisis communication & responding to disinformation.

‘Disinformation in media’ training of media industry professionals from Eastern, Southern and Western Balkans neighbourhoods organised by the College of Europe in Natolin. 

Organising a two-day training for 50 participants (communication managers for EU-funded projects and EU Delegation members) and delivering sessions on planning of communication, digital diplomacy, incl. developing and engaging in social media posts and the role of storytelling in communications.

Delivering a two-day training for 30 participants (communication managers for EU-funded projects and EU Delegation members) on effective planning of communication & digital diplomacy – communicating the EU on social media.

Organising a two-day training session for EU Delegation Russia to mainstream strategic communication in the daily work of the EUDEL staff and strengthen the communication skills of EUDEL staff, incl. on digital diplomacy.

Two-day training to the communication staff & management of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia on strategic communications: planning; dealing with media; crisis communications; presence on social media & responding to disinformation.

Delivering a two-day training for project managers of Covenant of Mayors EU funded energy efficiency projects from all the EaP countries on strategic communication, crisis communications, social media and developing and implementing the communication plans.

One day training on strategic communications & addressing disinformation for Young Diplomats from the EU Member States on digital diplomacy, organised in the framework of rotating EU presidency (held by Estonia at that time) and the European External Action Service cooperation.

Exchanging best practices and assisting the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service with an information campaign on the new Civil Service Law in Ukraine.

Participating as an international expert and helping to organise a seminar by the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership on informing the public about AA/DCFTA and other EU-related issues in Ukraine.
