Strengthening crisis response across MENA EU Delegations

As part of the EU Regional Seminar on Strategic Communications for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, held in Brussels from 16–18 September 2025, Press and Information Officers, Communication Coordinators and Information Analysts from EU Delegations took part in dedicated crisis communication training. Stratcom PRO delivered two core sessions: an applied introduction to crisis response and a simulation-based exercise designed to strengthen preparedness, improve decision-making under pressure and enhance coordination between press teams and analytical units. The training combined practical frameworks from the crisis communication toolkit presented in the seminar slides with hands-on scenario work featured in the programme’s crisis communication block. Participants worked through realistic cases inspired by challenges faced by EU Delegations, enabling peer exchange and helping to build a more consistent, confident and rapid crisis response across the region.
