Teaching strategic communication at the College of Europe
For the past five years, we have delivered the course ‘Strategic Communication in a Digital Age’ at the College of Europe in Natolin, tailored for Master’s students in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Programme. The course delves into the European Union’s strategic communication framework, examines the communication strategies of international organisations and nation-states, and emphasises countering disinformation while leveraging digital tools such as AI and social media. Through interactive group projects and practical exercises, students gain hands-on experience in designing impactful communication campaigns and navigating the challenges of hybrid threats.
